Dichteres Johanna Geels zal de komende tijd op een bijzondere manier een bijdrage leveren aan Apeldoorn Direct, ze maakt namelijk gedichten op muziek. Het eerste gedicht uit deze reeks heet ‘Detox’, tevens de naam van haar nieuwe bundel die in december in de winkels ligt. Bij deze bundel zit ook een cd met muzikale begeleiding van gitarist Mark Beumers.
Detox is de tweede dichtbundel van Johanna Geels. Opnieuw een verzameling glasheldere verzen vol grimmige, absurde en hilarische wendingen. Grofgebekt maar ook vertederend. Detox helpt de Nederlandse poëzie in één klap van al haar pijntjes af.
